Between your highschool rock T-Shirts and your wife's closet full of clothes, you simply do not have any room left to get new stuff.
So it is time one again for the Spring cleaning we all love so much and the hardest part is saying good-bye. You have to be honest with yourself and get rid of all those clothes you either do not wear or do not fit in anymore.
Ask yourself, would anyone else benefit from these clothes? Could someone else wear them and get a few good years out of your old shirts, coats, or pants?
Chances are if the clothes are still in pretty good shape that someone can benefit from your clothes. The Salvation Army and Goodwill are both setup to receive clothing donations from the public. The process could not be easier. You show up with your donations, they provide you with a receipt and you are happily on your way.
So the next time you are throwing out old garments make sure you consider a donation. Not only will you be helping someone else who may need it, but you will be helping conserve the resources that it cost to make and transport new clothing to replace those that end up in the landfill.
