Recycle Your Aluminum Cans
The average American drinks up to 2.5 sodas per day.
No wonder we have so many dentists. But that is certainly not the most important point in this story. Despite the on-going efforts of local municipalities perhaps as many as 50% of those cans are still not recycled.
And the aluminum can is one of the few products that can be recycled a full 100%. So there is little wasted in the materials. That recycled product can be be back on the shelf in as little as 60 days.
Donate your old clothes
Between your highschool rock T-Shirts and your wife's closet full of clothes, you simply do not have any room left to get new stuff.
So it is time one again for the Spring cleaning we all love so much and the hardest part is saying good-bye. You have to be honest with yourself and get rid of all those clothes you either do not wear or do not fit in anymore.
Ask yourself, would anyone else benefit from these clothes? Could someone else wear them and get a few good years out of your old shirts, coats, or pants?
Take shorter showers
There is absolutely nothing like taking a shower.
Whether you take one in the morning or after a long hard day it is just to easy to stay there for a little longer than you need to.
However, that few extra minutes can cost more than just a few extra dollars on the bill. In fact, by trimming just 2 to 3 minutes off your time in the shower you can save a staggering 150 gallons of water per month.
